Background
Back in 2020, our team were recruited to film and deliver live video coverage of The Business Day event, which took place during June 2021 at the Bridlington Spa. As media production partner for this event, Eon Visual Media were responsible for delivering live video coverage of the event as well as showcasing a series of pre-recorded videos of local businesses operating within the Hull & East Yorkshire Region.
So far in our current series of case studies, we have begun to explore all the promotional videos (including Hull Animal Welfare, JZ Flowers, Bishop Burton, Hull 4 Heroes, Associated British Ports, For Entrepreneurs Only, and the Daisy Appeal) which we produced for a wide variety of different businesses for The Business Day event. In this case study, we explore the promotional video which we produced for Humber Rescue, an independent charity that supplies fast response search and rescue operations on the Humber Estuary.
What We Did
In preparation for creating this film project, our videography and creative team liaised with the team at Humber Rescue to efficiently plan the video production.
The premise for this promotional video was to tell the origin and story of Humber Rescue, as well as showcase the incredible work carried out by volunteers who execute fast response search and rescue operations on the Humber Estuary. To do this, gorgeous footage was captured both on the Humber Rescue boat and from the air on the Humber Estuary.
The promotional video also featured interviews with some of the key figures and volunteers who work at Humber Rescue. These emotive pieces to camera created a sense of gravitas and featured Paul Beriff, Rob Hocking, Nicola Carr, Ian Bennett, Sam Willis, Mark Bloomfield, Dave Mitchell, and Dave Roberts.
After capturing all the required video shots, our videography team edited all this footage into a full stunning promotional video for Humber Rescue which then premiered at the Business Day event. Our full video can be seen here!
