Back in 2020, our team at Eon Visual Media were recruited to film and deliver live video coverage of The Business Day event, which took place during June 2021. This annual networking event takes place at the Bridlington Spa, and allows local businesses to come together and gain insight at the final event of Humber Business Week.
As media production partner for The Business Day event, Eon Visual Media were responsible for delivering live video coverage of the event as well as showcasing a series of pre-recorded videos of local businesses operating within the Hull & East Yorkshire Region. The pre-recorded videos were presented throughout magazine show in between live video segments.
So far in our current series of case studies, we have begun to explore all the promotional videos (including Hull Animal Welfare, JZ Flowers, Hull 4 Heroes, Associated British Ports, For Entrepreneurs Only, Humber Rescue, and the Daisy Appeal) which we produced for a wide variety of different businesses for The Business Day event. All our promotional videos can be seen here!
In this case study, we explore a promotional business video which we produced for Bishop Burton College, which is a further education land-based college based in Bishop Burton in the East Riding of Yorkshire.
What we did
In preparation for creating this film project, our videography and creative team liaised with Bishop Burton College to efficiently plan the video production. After developing a story board, our videography team travelled to the Bishop Burton campus in East Yorkshire to capture a variety of film footage.
The premise for this video production was to inform viewers on the key focuses of education at Bishop Burton College, including specialisms such as agriculture, horticulture, equine, animal management, countryside management, sport, public services, childcare and many more.
Additionally, our video presented the many ways in which the colleges is currently utilising innovative land-based technology to improve farming productivity and overall efficiency. Furthermore, our video also explained the role of agriculture in tackling the climate crisis, and how Bishop Burton College are aiming to reduce their overall carbon emissions and aim to become net carbon zero by 2030.
Additionally, our videography team captured organic pieces to camera featuring members of staff including Bill Meredith, Andrew Manfield, Andrew Charlton, and Nigel Cosby.
Throughout the day, our team utilised a plethora of video techniques and equipment to capture a diverse range of stunning visuals from across the ground of Bishop Burton College, including aerial drone footage of campus, shots of the campus buildings and facilities, footage of the surrounding campus fields and agriculture, and closeup shots of the agricultural machinery in action.
After capturing all the required video shots, our videography team edited all of this into a full stunning video production. Our full promotional video for Bishop Burton College can be seen here! 👉
