We are delighted to announce that some our colleagues at Eon Visual Media will be taking part in Get Caked later this year!
Get Caked, the muddiest challenge in East Yorkshire, is an outdoor obstacle course which will be taking place at Sledmere House in Driffield. On the 13th of March, our colleagues at Eon Visual Media and Springfield Solutions will be tackling 5 miles of trail running, whilst climbing over logs, jumping through tyres, crawling through muddy trenches, and taking on the ‘Sledmere Slide’ all in aid of charity.
Our colleagues are aiming to raise as much money as we can for Dove House Hospice in memory of ex-employee, Pete Jennison. Pete spent his final days being cared for by the incredible staff at Dove House and in that time, his friends and family were given peace of mind that he would be well looked after and were also given the opportunity to spend this precious time with him. The hospice was very attentive and responded quickly to get Pete into their care.
Dove House Hospice is an amazing place that works hard to help so many people and depends heavily on donations and charity events to continue operating. So, in honour of Pete, and as a way to say thank you to Dove House, team Eon and Springfield have decided to take part in the Get Caked event to raise money for the Hospice.
