Background
Back in 2020, our team were recruited to film and deliver live video coverage of The Business Day event, which took place during June 2021 at the Bridlington Spa. As media production partner for this event, Eon Visual Media were responsible for delivering live video coverage of the event as well as showcasing a series of pre-recorded videos of local businesses operating within the Hull & East Yorkshire Region.
So far in our current series of case studies, we have begun to explore all the promotional videos (including Hull Animal Welfare, JZ Flowers, Bishop Burton, Associated British Ports, For Entrepreneurs Only, Humber Rescue, and the Daisy Appeal) which we produced for a wide variety of different businesses for The Business Day event. In this case study, we explore the promotional video which we produced for Hull 4 Heroes, an independent charity that aims to provide support to veterans and ensure that their transition back into civilian life and regular employment is as seamless as possible.
What We Did
In preparation for creating this film project, our videography and creative team liaised with the team at Hull 4 Heroes to efficiently plan the video production.
The premise for this video production was to tell the origin and story of Hull 4 Heroes, as well as the incredible work carried out by volunteers who provide support to veterans. Additionally, our video would highlight the Veterans Village project which aims to provide training, support and housing for veterans and their families.
To do this, our videography team captured a variety of behind-the-scenes footage at Hull 4 Heroes visitor centre. Our video also featured interviews with some of the key figures who work at Hull 4 Heroes. These emotive pieces to camera featured Paul Matson and Trevor Fishburn which helped to create a sense of gravitas to the overall video.
After capturing all required video shots, our team edited all this into a full stunning video production for Hull 4 Heroes which then premiered at the Business Day event. Our video also featured a variety of additional footage of the Veterans Village project which had been provided by Help 4 Heroes. Our full video can be seen here! 👈
