Background
Our team at Eon Visual Media had the opportunity to flare our creative muscles and create a brand-new cosmetics brand for Springfield Solutions. To help promote the release of this new brand, our team also had the opportunity to create a brand-new animated video as well as an immersive augmented reality experience. In this case study, we explore how our creative team developed and created the new animated video for Springfield Solutions.
Animated Video
The premise for the animated video was to help Springfield Solutions to promote the BLOOM cosmetics branding, whilst also showcasing their digital label embellishment (including foiling, spot varnishes and embossed/debossed effects) offering to beauty, personal care, and cosmetic markets.
With this, our creative team reviewed the project brief and developed a storyboard which would address the overall objectives of the project. After gaining approval on the storyboard from Springfield Solutions, our team began developing and designing look images and design concepts for the video.
What We Did
Our creative team were able to utilise the branding and imagery which we had created whilst designing the BLOOM cosmetics brand. Doing this also allowed our new animated video to keep on brand with the overall brand concept. Additionally, our team were also able to utilise graphics of the various BLOOM products in the animated video which had previously been created in the design process of the overall brand.
One key aim for the animated video, was to showcase that BLOOM cosmetic products would help users to develop and grow with confidence as they applied the various cosmetic products. To help emphasise this key message, our animated video featured a variety of different flower graphics growing in various stages of bloom.
To help communicate the key messages of the video, our team also incorporated a voice over which helped to add narration to the video and emphasise information on the digital label embellishments.
Outcome
Our animation was incredibly well received by Springfield Solutions, and our team were highly praised for demonstrating their creativity and a variety of different skills.
