A new look for Hull City’s Commercial offerings.

We have recently launched a brand new and exciting commercial website for local football club Hull City. We’ve worked with the club before and it has been great to collaborate with such a local powerhouse again on this approach to promoting their sponsorship and hospitality offerings at the club.

 

 

The team at Hull City came to us with a situation that was centred around providing a dedicated website for the commercial team, ensuring information that they wanted to communicate to their target audience wasn’t getting diluted or lost in amongst other club information on the main club site.

The new website needed to be optimised for a slightly different audience and the user journey focused around generating new leads and enquiries.

It was also really important that the internal marketing team at the club could make regular updates and manage the content with ease on a day to day basis.

To combat the issues that the company were facing, we worked collaboratively across a number of our different departments here at Eon.

We carried out a full redesign working to recently developed commercial brand guidelines and to have some consistency with the newly printed brochures.

The website showcases the different options available at the club on matchdays, and it was important to us that this website would be easy to navigate for the user and functional for their needs, whilst maintaining the allure that game day hospitality at Hull City is so well known for.

We really feel like we’ve nailed that user experience that was so important to the client.

The website is linked to a Content Management System which allows the club to regularly update the site content and provides the flexibility required to promote new offerings.

We’ve also linked the site up to Google Analytics to enable the marketing team to monitor traffic and how visitors are navigating the site.

The website includes data capture to help re-target those visitors that confirm their interest as we have linked the leads to their CRM system.

Overall we’re really happy with the finalised website, and we’ve received great feedback from the club. Have a look and let us know what you think!
