Background and Objectives
Ideal Heating Commercial is the UK’s leading commercial heating manufacturer of high efficiency commercial heating solutions, with their main production facility in Hull.
They approached the team at Eon Visual Media to create a promotional video to support their new marketing campaign for the Evomax 2 boiler. Their boilers have a competitive advantage in terms of speed and ease of building and installation, so they saw an opportunity for some videography work to showcase this advantage to customers.
The video needed to be timestamped, snappy and complete with subtitles to meet their objectives!
Process of Creating the Promotional Video
After initial briefings and conversations, our team arrived for onsite filming at the Hull site. We filmed with a custom backdrop which replicated an industrial setting, and we used multi cameras to film each element both wide and close up so viewers could see exactly how each section is built.
The ‘actors’ were trained Ideal Heating employees who have a wide array of knowledge on the products. Given that the videos are being used as instructional aids for installers and engineers, it was important that appropriate information was conveyed.
Outcome
The Evomax 2 promotional videos were very well received, so much so that Ideal Heating are looking to create similar versions for other commercial heating products in the coming year.
The videos were used across YouTube, social media, and in PR campaigns and we are thrilled with the results. So far on YouTube, there have been over 22,000 views, with 21% of viewers watching the video in its entirety. These are fantastic results, and both teams are so pleased!
