Background and Objectives
A-One Tools are an independent power tools sales, hire, and repair shop. After seeing some of our previous work, they got in touch to help with their website development. Part of the project also included design work and marketing support, which you can find out more about by keeping an eye on our social media!
The main aim for the website redesign and development was to provide e-commerce familiarity, ensuring that the website looks and feels like an online shop, and providing a smoother user journey from arrival to checkout.
Research and Process
At Eon Visual Media, we recognise the importance of providing a good mobile experience, so we always employ a mobile-first approach in our development.
Once the designs were approved, we began implementation, carefully considering the layout, positioning of CTAs, and product cards, based on research of competitors.
We installed WP Rocket, a plugin aimed to turbocharge e-commerce sites through image optimisation and clever caching. We also made sure that page speed was good, as well as ensuring a smooth checkout process to improve conversions and reduce abandoned baskets.
Outcome
We always offer website hosting, backups, and maintenance as part of our web development projects. This way, we can keep an eye on your website, ensuring it is always up to date, and can rectify issues if they pop up.
