Hull Truck Theatre was the venue for another fantastic TEDxHull event on March 31st.

TED is a non-profit organisation devoted to spreading ideas, usually in the form of short, powerful talks with subjects ranging from Technology and science, to entertainment and culture. TEDx are independently run events which help share ideas in local communities around the world.

Having been involved in TEDxHull since 2013, Eon Visual Media were on hand last week to direct and shoot all talks from the day’s programme, providing full, uninterrupted coverage of the event.

Our video of Graham Shaw’s talk from 2015; “Why people think they can’t draw – and how to prove they can” has gone viral, hitting over 14m views, making it the 5th most viewed TED talk of all time.

The theme for 2017 was “From Where I Stand”, with speakers including Social Entrepreneur and Author Jody Day, Explorer Ness Knight and Professor of Astrophysics Prof. Brad Gibson.

As media partner to TEDxHull, Eon Visual Media will also be responsible for all post production, editing and uploading each individual presentation to the TEDx YouTube channel within 2 weeks of the event date.
