The first six months into Hull’s year in the spotlight as UK City of Culture 2017 have certainly flown by and it’s fair to say that the City and its inhabitants have really upped their cultural game – and expectations too. There has been a plethora of amazing and diverse cultural spectacles in which to revel and indeed, far too many to mention here. That said you can enjoy some of the favourite cultural experiences of our own staff by heading to the blog section of our website: http://www.eon-media.com/insights and reviewing some of the earlier entries from 2017.
From a video business point of view we’ve been involved in the filming and production of some of the most spectacular events, so we’ve compiled a list of our favourite moments in video from Hull 2017.
During May we filmed during the Extraordinary Orchard Park Parade when creatures on wheels, walkers on stilts, giant puppets, bands, and hundreds of handmade costumes created by Orchard Park residents brought vibrant colour and music to the streets of this housing estate:
In June we recorded some remarkable time-lapse footage of the set up, performance and break down of the rapturous Hull homecoming concert performed by Paul Heaton and Jacqui Abbott at KCOM Craven Park:
Earlier this month we recorded the amazing Flash Mob performance of (In)visible Dancing. You you can see the edited highlights of this above.
